The Most Important Health Metric Ever
A significant percentage of men considered in the “normal” range of testosterone levels are actually sick with hypogonadism.
This is because the reference ranges for healthy testosterone include men in their 80s and 90s, which skew the results in favor of low levels. They also include men who are obese, have diabetes or heart disease, and can barely walk.
Not a good reference to compare yourself to!
According to research that more accurately assesses bioavailable testosterone, nearly 50% of men over 45 have low testosterone!
A large number of men in the so-called “normal” levels of testosterone actually have hypogonadism.
These normal ranges are not even CLOSE to what is required for health and happiness!
Even with mid-range levels, if you are experiencing the symptoms of low testosterone levels, you will want to get on TRT (Testosterone Replacement Therapy) as fast as possible.
So if the numbers are wrong, what is the most important health metric to pay attention to?
The most important thing is how you feel.
Do you go to the doctor if you don’t feel ill? Of course not.
But most men don’t realize that they are nowhere NEAR their potential for health, happiness, and energy.
Even if your levels are within the “normal” range of 250 – 1,100 ng/dL, you may still feel depressed, lethargic, stressed, and weak.
Trust how you feel over what the numbers say. Some men test at 300 and feel great, while others can be at 600 and feel inadequate.
The goal is to feel better, not achieve a certain number. Different people will feel differently at different levels of serum testosterone.
Even if you DON’T experience low libido, erectile dysfunction, lethargy, sleep disturbance, or depressed mood, you may STILL have hypogonadism!
“Low testosterone levels were associated with symptoms, but many men with low testosterone levels were asymptomatic.”
In fact, it was as high as 47.6% in men 50+!
That means there’s at least a 1 in 2 chance that you are not as healthy as you could be, and not fulfilling your potential.
But it doesn’t have to stay that way.
